Someone may want to edit this recipe. I always bake by weight. An log egg weighs 47-50g, so I know 1 egg yolk won’t weigh 60g. Should I use an egg + 1 egg? Are you using white turkey meat or dark meat? Your instructions say to add cinnamon but it’s not a listed ingredient. Should it read flour instead? I really want to make this recipe but I need some answers please, and thanks so much.
Jeanette – thank you for your sharp eye and comments. This recipe was changed slightly just before publication and does have a couple of typos. The intent is to use just one egg yolk. We also removed cinnamon from the recipe. The common cinnamon found in stores can contain small quantities of coumarin so it is not the best ingredient for pet treats, especially for small dogs – and the treats are still great without it.
