Bake with the Tradition of 100% Linen

Brod & Taylor’s 100% linen liners are designed to fit our boule and batard bannetons perfectly, giving bakers a simple, natural way to proof sourdough and artisan loaves.  Unlike cotton or blend fabrics, linen has long been the baker’s choice for banneton liners as it manages moisture naturally, dries quickly, and delivers results you can count on.

  • Wicks away moisture for crisp crusts and easier scoring
  • Prevents sticking for smooth, consistent release
  • Handles high-hydration dough with ease
  • Dries quickly between uses

FAQs
What are the liners made from?
Our liners are made from 100% natural linen - a durable and breathable fabric ideal for bread proofing.
How do I care for and clean them?
We recommend only washing them when necessary - not after every use. After use, shake out excess flour and let the liner air dry completely. If washing is needed, hand wash with a mild detergent and let air dry.
Should I flour my liner?
Yes - lightly dust your liner with flour (we recommend rice flour) before placing the dough in.
