I called their customer service and was helped by a delightful young man who arranged for postage paid return of the defective part and immediate shipment of the replacement unit. He also told me about a wonderful baking website and answered my baking questions. Gold star customer service.
I had problems with my proofer. However, I got an almost immediate call back from an engineer. He determined that it has to be replaced. It was easy with no fuss.
I believe that the true test of a company is what happens when things go wrong. The company handled this perfectly.
As for the proofer itself, as I pulled my dough out this morning I was wondering how I ever lived without it. I love it.
